Typical Viking repairs

Viking gas ranges get a lot of ignition calls: spark modules, regulators and burners, especially where cooking grease meets damp coastal air. Electric and dual-fuel ovens have bake, broil and convection fan failures. When a griddle or French top seems weak, we test the surface and controls before blaming the gas. Built-in Viking fridges can develop warm spots, loud compressors or ice problems, often because there’s little room for air behind the cabinets.

Fix it or replace it?

Pulling out a pro range or a built-in fridge means dealing with the gas line, the hood and the cabinets. Replacing an igniter, valve, element, fan or board is almost always less work and less risk. We’ll suggest replacement if the cabinets are damaged, the gas system isn’t safe, or parts for an older model aren’t realistically available.

When you book, let us know if it’s gas or dual-fuel, anything about the vent hood, and how to get to the kitchen. If you’re up in the hills with a steep driveway or a tight garage, say so early. We come from Daly City, diagnose on site and do the repair you approve with OEM parts. Appointments are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
