We cover Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville and Benicia on planned weekday trips up I-80. It’s a longer drive for us than a San Francisco or Peninsula call, and summers out there are a lot hotter, so we book Solano visits a little differently: fewer stops, set around commute traffic on the bridge and the freeway.

Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville and Benicia

In Vallejo we’re often downtown or on the hillside streets, in older homes where the owner and the tenant both need a heads-up. Fairfield calls are mostly family homes, some behind HOA gates, and people there usually want a clear morning or afternoon window around school. Vacaville’s tract homes and newer developments tend to need a gate code, a spot for visitor parking, and someone home to open the door. Benicia addresses go on the same Solano day when we can fit them. We also go to Napa on weekdays, and a Napa job can often share a day with Solano.

Renting, or managing the place? Send us the unit number, gate or elevator instructions, where to park, whether there’s a pet, and who will be there. On a long travel day, that note saves the visit.

What usually breaks out there

The heat is the big one. Here’s what we get called for most:

Call or email on a weekday. Tell us what the appliance is doing, the brand and model if you have them, and your city or ZIP. Mention stairs, a gate, a long driveway or pets. We’ll give you a window that allows for the drive, find the problem on site, go over your options, and do the repair once you say yes. Same-day weekday service is often available.
