KitchenAid Appliance Repair in the San Francisco Bay Area

KitchenAid dishwasher, fridge and range repair

A lot of remodeled Bay Area kitchens have KitchenAid: a dishwasher under a stone counter, a French-door fridge, a range that works hard on weekends. When the dishwasher leaves a film, the fridge warms up after you load the groceries, or the oven bakes unevenly, guessing at a part from the hardware store usually doesn’t fix it. We come out, test it and repair it with OEM parts, anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our address is 140 San Pedro Rd, Daly City, CA 94014, and every job is done at your home (no walk-in counter). Call 415-585-5900 or email service@bayappliancerepair.com between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekends we’re closed. Same-day weekday service is often available. California BEAR #46247.

Common KitchenAid problems

With KitchenAid dishwashers, a clogged filter, pump or spray path usually shows up as standing water, poor cleaning, cloudy glasses, or a cycle that stops. Fridges can get a warm section, a noisy fan, frost or ice-maker trouble. Ranges and wall ovens tend to act up after a big holiday: bake or broil elements, convection fans, controls. Over-the-range microwaves give us turntable, keypad and vent fan calls in smaller kitchens.

  • Dishwasher not draining or not cleaning
  • Fridge warm, frosted, or not making ice
  • Oven or range baking unevenly or not lighting
  • Cooktop element or spark module failure
  • Microwave keypad, heating or vent problems

Many KitchenAid models are built on the same platforms as other Whirlpool Corporation brands. If you also have Whirlpool or Maytag, see Whirlpool appliance repair and Maytag appliance repair. Send us the model numbers and we’ll come prepared.

Is it worth repairing?

Usually, yes. Replacing a built-in KitchenAid can mean new panels, countertop work or an electrician. Swapping a pump, heater, seal or control board costs much less and doesn’t tear up the kitchen. If the unit is old, rusted, or keeps having electronic failures, we’ll tell you it’s time to replace it.
